Communitech is an innovation hub that has served the Waterloo Region tech community since 1997. Their mission is to help founders in the region start, grow, and succeed.

Communitech needed a refreshed visual identity that reinforced their commitment to supporting tech founders in Waterloo Region after taking a national focus for a period of time. In my role as an in-house designer I created a logo that draws on the legacy and equity of Communitech’s original logo with a modern refresh. The triangle representing the tri-city area of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, Ontario is the centrepiece of the Communitech brand. I delivered a full logo suite, a refreshed colour palette based around their iconic blue, comprehensive brand guidelines and extensive supporting assets.
